What started as a quest to become a chemistry teacher somehow led me to where I am today. I have questions too.
I started my college career at Canisius College as a chemistry major, but there was always a voice in the back of my head that wanted to work in the sports industry. I took a chance and enrolled in a few communications classes and signed up to work basketball games helping stream them online.
The following year, I took an internship with the Buffalo Bisons where I learned about the art of video editing and it was there that I fell in love.
From there, I was hooked. I took an internship with Pegula Sports and Entertainment where I got to work on some of the highest-profile projects in Buffalo sports. Eventually, I was hired as a full-time editor, where I remained until 2019 when I began this new journey as a freelance video editor.
I have experience editing commercials, features, hype videos, long-form pieces, social pieces amongst other things. I’ve picked up a camera in my day as well, so I don’t feel out of place in the production process either.
